If we always got what we wanted, there would be no sorrow and without sorrow there would be no such as joy. If we always got what we wanted there would be no crisis, healing, or growth, peace. If we always got what we wanted we would stay suspended in a state of contentment, that is in the end, quite a bit more maddening than the pain we were trying to avoid in the first place. To break is to grow.
